We had another gibberish session today and this time, i got to pair up with Yan Zhang and we were assigned to pick our roles, A & B. I was to tell him this really hot piece of gossip while pointing at random people and laughing together. The second scene an argument with his girlfriend whom he faound out had been cheating on him.
Formed a circle, and it was a fairytale theme. Amanda came up with Cinderella while Azri became the stepmother. It was ridiculously funny watching Azri speaking gibberish in a more feminine voice. Slowly the wicked stepsisters started to come into the scene and started to pick on poor Cinderella and mistreating her. Wandy, the messenger came up to the door handing the invitations to the royal ball and the sisters were busily snatching the invitations among each other.
Status game: For the first round, the guys were to hunch their backs and take small steps while the girls were the other way around, head up in the air and taking large steps. the guys were only allowed to look up whether someone approaches. This had an arrogant feeling, a show off kind. We switched roles for the second round, we girls take up the insignificant role and the guys take up the glorious role. It felt like some wealthy family looking down on peasants which we watch about the ancient ruling. fame and power
Status pair ups: A scene where a driver was to get a ticket summon from speeding and he was intimidated by the policeman who was about to give him a ticket. The policeman hinted if he wanted to settle it here or at court. HERE was meant by bribing him or what we say here in Malaysia, "duit kopi".
When playing a high status, it made me feel arrogant, intimidating, offensive and also knowledgeable while for the low status character, it felt insignificant, fearful and unnoticeable.
CHAGRIN & EMBARASSMENT
It was the usual Sunday where my family and I would head to the club and go for a swim. EXERCISING. My least favorite thing to do but sometimes it helps me keep my mind off things for awhile. Lately i was very disturbed by the thought of having to deal a singing competition in school. I have stage fright and a group of friends and I were representing our class. After a long trying-to-keep-afloat day, we left the place and I was given the honor to pick where we would have lunch.
My parents left to get the car while I waited at the lobby. I was pleased when I saw the familiar silver car and I happily got into it and crashed on the seats as I was too tired. The surrounding smelled different. It wasn't the usual floral Ambi Pur scent that circulated in the air. It was a strong cologne. I opened my eyes to find that there was a strange man sitting in the car. Shit! It wasn't my dad. I was in the wrong car!!! I quickly apologized and ran out of the car. My parents were at the car at the back laughing while watching the whole thing.

THIS IS HOW WE BEGIN
We were brought to the music room in the ADP classrooms for a video viewing. It was a theater play which was directed by Mei Ann and Mr Rey himself with a group of college students from China.
It started by showing the actors' life as infants demanding for their mothers and slowing developing into teens through the years. There was a scene where a student was forced to kneel down to seek forgiveness from the teacher. We were told that it was a common thing in China.
It then skips to a different story where a group of friends sat down and told each other about their personal problems. One girl came up talking about how her peaceful loving family had been torn down due to her father's addiction to alcohol which caused her mother to proceed to a divorce. Since then, she never got to see him. Another story was about a girl losing her grandfather which hit me. It brought me back to regretting, wishing I was there before my granddad took his last breath.
We watched them struggled in their exams and I could relate to their feelings shown through their expression as I still go through with these thoughts and feelings each time during/after an exam. There was a girl who cried after her unsatisfying marks which reminded me very much of myself but I was always told that its useless crying over spilled milk. Then we watched the cast graduating to college and watched them in a military scene, marching out.
After class, we drew lots to divide ourselves into two group for our finals. Excited!
